Oregon's new Cell Phone law
On January 1st, Oregon's new Cell Phone law took effect. It is now a
Class D traffic violation to operate a cell phone while driving without
using a
Hands Free
device. The fine is $142 and the police can pull
you over if they observe you holding a cell phone to your ear.
There are some exceptions and you can read them
here.
The cost of a wired or bluetooth hands free cell phone device is much
less than the cost of a ticket. Find yours today at
Hevanet's Hands Free Store.
