Is your computer getting slow? You may not need to buy a new computer. Simply upgrading your computer with more RAM will sometimes make your computer feel like new again. This page tells you how to find out what kind of RAM you need, and how to buy RAM online.

First find out how much RAM you have. In windows, right-click on 'My Computer' and left click on Properties. We recommend that you should have at least 1GB with XP, and 2GB with Vista... so if you have less than that, find out what kind you need by going to Newegg RAM Search. then simply buy it right there at Newegg.

Now that you know what RAM you need, you could also see what is available at Hevanet's PC Store, PC Mall, CompUSA, or TigerDirect.

When you do receive your RAM, you could install it yourself if you are comfortable inside your computer. If you don't know how to install RAM, you may want to take it to a pc service store.
